The lab especially educated and researches on the wood primary and secondary processing. This lab is composed by two sub-laboratories :
- Laboratory of Wood Drying and Preservation
The lab provides wood sawing, drying, preservation, modification, as well as wood-working for the effective and efficient application and process. Research are conducted mainly on the practical level concerning problems covering a wide range of topics including the inferior timber improvements and technology for small-scale industries.

- Laboratory of Composite Technology
This lab comprehensively educates science and technologies concerning applications of wood adhesives, particleboard technology, binderless board, and development on the natural adhesives. Research programs in various fields of composite production are conducted on natural fibers from crops as well as plastic materials.
